Was having a serioussssss Thai craving tonight mainly because it’s Sunday and I crave Asian food on Sundays – anyone else?! Was real close to ordering takeout after meal prepping all damn day but I’m SO glad I didn’t. Whipped up my Spaghetti Squash Pad Thai and also had to have some Basil Garlic Chicken and Coconut Rice on the side. Guys, it was INSANE!!! I could have licked my plate clean 🙈 YOU HAVE TO TRY IT!
Basil Garlic Chicken
- 2 organic chicken breasts
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp tamari/soy sauce
- 1/2 lime
- 1 tsp oyster sauce
- 1 cup basil leaves
Heat 1 tbsp sesame oil over medium heat in a nonstick pan or wok.
Thinly slice chicken into thin strips. If it is a thick breast, cut it lengthwise first, then cut into strips.
Add chicken to the pan and add the garlic, soy sauce, lime juice, and oyster sauce.
Once chicken is cooked, remove from heat and add fresh basil.
