Want to know what I love? Brownies. Want to know what I love even more? Banana Bread. Here is their love child – because no one should EVER have to choose between the two. If I’m being honest here, this Brownie Banana Bread lasted no more than 3 hours in my house… It is seriously one of the best things I have ever baked. Already counting down for my next batch of spotty bananas so I can make it again. I LOVE baking with @lilys_sweets_chocolate because they don’t add sugar (it is sweetened with stevia) and it’s always Non-GMO, Gluten Free, and FairTrade. Highly recommend the Caramelized & Salted flavor for this recipe – SO GOOD! I get it at Whole Foods or buy online🍫
GF Brownie Banana Bread
- 2 over-ripe bananas
- 1/3 natural nut butter
- 2 tbsp melted and cooled coconut oil
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup almond flour
- 3 tbsp cacao powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 bar Lily's Sweets Chocolate
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
In a large bowl, combine your wet ingredients: over-ripe bananas, natural nut butter (should have a runny consistency), melted and cooled coconut oil, and eggs.
Then combine your dry ingredients in a separate bowl: almond flour, cacao powder, and baking powder.
Combine the wet and dry ingredients together, pour into a bread pan and top with 1 bar of @lilys_sweets_chocolate chopped into small pieces. Bake for 35ish minutes (depending on your oven) or until a toothpick comes out of the center of the bread clean.
Enjoy while warm or store in the fridge for up to 3 days!
