The most dreamy dinner you guys omg 🤤 I recently found out I’m low in iron (most women are) so I’m incorporating more high quality red meat in my diet – about 3 times a week! I feel like diet culture is afraid of red meat and we are always being told to stick with chicken, turkey and fish to stay “lean,” but red meat is extremely important for your hormonal health as your hormones rely on iron to function properly. I encourage you all to start incorporating it into your diet a couple times a week!! Tonight I made Greek Style Burgers on top of my Greek Pasta Salad and it was freaking AMAZING! Also topped it all with @nourishedbykale’s date mint pesto which goes SO well with beef and lamb!
Greek Style Burgers
- 1 lb grass fed organic ground beef
- 1 egg
- 2-3 cloves crushed or minced garlic
- 1-2 tbsp fresh dill
- 1 tsp parsley
- 1 tsp salt and pepper
Combine all ingredients. Cook on the grill or in a cast iron skillet on medium heat for about 5-6 minutes each side or until cooked through.
