My Top 10 Skincare Favorites!

Lately I have officially become a skincare junkie! These are my absolute favorite products to achieve glow-y, hydrated, beautiful skin without getting a facial once a month. I try to use all natural, vegan skincare as much as I can and I have found it not only is better for your body, but these products are extremely effective and have done wonders for my skin. Hope you love!!

  1. Facial Lounge: Facial in a Bottle ($89)– My all time favorite product. It does all of the things you want a product to do for your skin: shrinks pores, evens skin color/tone, it’s anti-aging, and makes your skin fresh and smooth. It’s literally a facial in a bottle. Code is brocc20 for 20% all Facial Lounge products! I don’t even get commission on my code I just genuinely love these products!
  2. Facial Lounge: Calming Hydrogel ($59)– This is my favorite moisturizer for underneath my makeup because it is super calming and it’s matte so it doesn’t make your skin oily! It is perfect for people with problematic skin and might be scared of moisturizer clogging their pores.
  3. Facial Lounge: Whipped Creme Sleeping Mask ($59)– Do we see a theme here? I know I’m obsessed with these products. This mask is PERFECT for dry skin and it makes your face insanely soft and glowy even after just one use. It is also amazing for putting on during a flight so your skin isn’t irritated when you land. You need it.
  4. Cocokind: Organic Rosewater Toner ($15)– I love this for after I wash my face before I put on my serums and moisturizer. It balances your skins PH and is a great skin refresher for throughout the day.
  5. Facial Lounge: Papaya Enzyme Scrub ($76)– I do this mask at least 2-3 times a week! It gently exfoliates your skin and makes it super bright without drying it out. Its by far my favorite mask I’ve ever tried!
  6. Kopari: Coconut Cleansing Oil ($32)– I love this for getting off my makeup at night! It is the best for deep cleaning your skin, but leaving it super soft as well. Coconut oil basically cures everything.
  7. Facial Lounge: Pore Clarifying Cleanser ($29)– Love this cleanser especially since I have oily skin! It’s great for breakouts, but it is gentle enough to where it won’t dry you out.
  8. Kiehl’s: Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Masque ($35)– I love this mask for when my skin needs a deep clean! It also doubles as a spot treatment. I sleep with it on problem areas and I swear it shrinks my pimples overnight.
  9. Dr. Brandt: Needles No More ($28)– This under eye cream gets rid of bags immediately! I love it for putting on under my makeup when I’m feeling extra sleepy. It tightens your skin and makes you look brighter and more awake!
  10. Facial Lounge: Sea Whip Gelle Masque ($59)– I use this whenever I’m going to an event – I do it before putting on my makeup and 9/10 times someone comments on how good my skin looks. If you want a dewy look, this is for you!! It’s also perfect for traveling. I keep it in the fridge for a super cooling effect.

Can’t believe my leftovers turned into this gorg Can’t believe my leftovers turned into this gorg salad in literally 5 minutes 😍 This Chicken Shawarma No-Dressing Salad is the perfect nourishing lunch to fuel you through the rest of your day. Not trying to throw shade but @cava has nothing on me 💅🏼

Heated up leftover Chicken Shawarma from @traderjoes but I also have a recipe on my blog! Base is romaine lettuce, cucumber and tomato. Topped with chicken shawarma (falafel would be great too), feta cheese, pickled red onion, crushed pita chips and some salt & pepper. I added tzatziki and red pepper hummus on the side (both from @traderjoes). This is perfect to act as a low cal/fat dressing! I also have a recipe for pickled onions on my blog- just add one thinly sliced red onion, 1 part water, 1 part apple cider vinegar, 1 part white vinegar (or just use all ACV), pinch of salt and a splash of maple syrup to a mason jar. I always keep these in my fridge and they’re ready in about an hour!

You can post your pics, share them with friends or just keep them for yourself on a day when you aren’t feeling your best. It’s important to feel comfortable and confident. Quite honestly, it’s the key to success in SO many aspects of life! ❤️

Was craving takeout vibes tonight so I made a big Was craving takeout vibes tonight so I made a big bowl of Sweet & Sour Shrimp with green beans and brown rice 🥡 Safe to say the spot has been hit. The sweet & sour sauce I made is sweetened with honey so there’s no refined sugar or artificial ingredients like the store bought or restaurant versions! Perfectly sweet with a little spice 😋

Ingredients:
1 lb shrimp
1/4 cup soy sauce 
2 tbsp rice vinegar 
1/4 cup honey 
1 tbsp sriracha 
1 tsp sesame oil + more to cook the shrimp 
1/2 tsp red chili flakes 
2 cloves garlic, minced 
1 tbsp tapioca flour or arrowroot starch + 1/4 cup hot water (this thickens the sauce)
Veggies + rice to serve 
Instructions:
Whisk together all ingredients for the sauce except the tapioca flour + water mixture. 
Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add a drizzle of sesame oil to coat the pan. Add in your shrimp and cook for a few minutes each side until it turns pink and is no longer translucent inside. 
Once the shrimp is just cooked, add the sauce mixture + flour mixture to the pan. Bring to a simmer until the sauce has thickened.
I used the same pan to saute some green beans with soy sauce and sriracha! Serve with brown rice. Makes 3-4 servings.

My go to snack or lunch lately has been these prot My go to snack or lunch lately has been these protein packed chicken nuggets 🤩 I keep them gluten free by using crushed up cheese crisps as the “breading,” but you can use any crushed up chip, cracker or even regular breadcrumbs! I’ve seen @shutthekaleup do something similar with crushed up plantain chips and it looks FIRE 🔥 Keep this recipe handy for any time you’re craving nugs!

Ingredients:
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken tenders, cut into bite sized pieces 
2 eggs, beaten 
1 bag @whispssnacks or any cracker or chip, crushed (I use the bottom of a glass to crush them while they’re still in the bag)
Avocado oil 
Ketchup or ranch to dip!
Instructions:
Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
Coat your chicken nuggets in the egg wash then “breading” one piece at a time. Set aside once coated.
Add a generous drizzle of oil to coat your pan and add the chicken nuggets once the pan and oil are hot.
Cook for about 3-4 minutes each side or until chicken is cooked through and crispy. Be careful not to overcrowd the pan and do 2 batches if needed. This ensures they get super crispy!
Dip in your sauce of choice and enjoy!

If you’re not sure what to do this Valentine’s If you’re not sure what to do this Valentine’s Day, I highly suggest making this Crispy Prosciutto & Blackberry Pizza! 🍕❤️ It is delicious, fun to make and grain free when you use @bobsredmill Grain Free Flatbread Mix! It has super clean ingredients and tastes amazing. You’ll fall in love 🥰

Ingredients:
Pizza crust:
1 package @bobsredmill Grain Free Flatbread Mix (makes 2 pizzas)
2 eggs
1/4 cup melted butter or ghee
1/4 cup water 
Toppings:
Pizza sauce
Mozzarella 
Prosciutto 
Goat cheese
Blackberries 
Fresh thyme
Freshly grated Parmesan 
Honey 
Instructions:
Cook crust according to package.
Spread on your sauce, then add mozzarella, prosciutto, goat cheese, blackberries, and thyme.
Broil for about 5 minutes until cheese is melted.
Serve with freshly grated parm and a drizzle of honey on top!
