Who doesn’t love Chocolate Covered Frozen Bananas?! 🍌 Leave it to me to make them super “extra” and better than any frozen banana I’ve ever tried. I’m calling them Banana Splits on a Stick!
Chocolate Covered Frozen Bananas
- 2 bananas
- 1/2 cup natural peanut butter
- 1 chocolate bar
- 1-2 tsp coconut oil
- crushed peanuts
- freeze dried strawberries
Cut your bananas in half and insert a Popsicle stick (you can buy on Amazon or just eat a bunch of Popsicles and save the sticks). First, dip the bananas in peanut butter (make sure you use an all natural peanut butter with a runny consistency). Freeze for 10-15 minutes. Then, dip them in melted chocolate - melt the chocolate by adding 1-2 tsp of coconut oil per chocolate bar and microwave on 50% power at 30 second increments until its all melted.
Add crushed peanuts, freeze dried strawberries, and a little more peanut butter and freeze for about an hour.
