The most perfect, simple salmon recipe to keep in your back pocket for a quick dinner! Honestly, when you are buying high quality fish you don’t really need to do much to it to make it taste amazing.
This is exhibit A. Just some oil or butter, lemon, garlic and fresh herbs create such a delicious entree. Plus salmon is SO good for you. I try to eat it at least once a week!
Easy Baked Garlic Dill Salmon
- 1 wild caught salmon filet (about a pound)
- 2 tbsp butter or olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1/2 lemon juiced
- 2 tbsp fresh dill
- Kosher salt
- freshly cracked black pepper
- lemon wedges to serve
Preheat oven to 425 degrees and place your salmon on a foil lined baking sheet.
Melt your butter in a small bowl then add lemon juice & garlic. Stir to combine.
Season the salmon with salt & pepper and pour the butter mixture over top.
Top with dill and bake for about 10 minutes or until the fish easily flakes off with a fork.
Serve with lemon wedges, rice and your choice of veggie!
