Probably the best sandwich I’ve had all year. There’s so many different ways to do grilled cheeses but this has to be my favorite. All of the flavors just work so perfectly together. I feel like my words can’t even do it justice so here’s the recipe.
Autumn Grilled Cheese
- 2 slices sourdough
- 1 tbsp butter softened
- 3 tbsp Brie cheese
- 1/4 honeycrisp apple thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup caramelized onions
- 1 slice bacon
- Drizzle of honey
- Fresh Thyme to garnish
Coat the outsides of your bread with butter. Assemble your sandwich with all ingredients listed above.
Cook on low medium heat until crispy and cheese is melted.
To serve, drizzle with honey and top with thyme.
