I’m not sure why I’ve never made a BLT (Bacon Lettuce Tomato) as a salad before… it’s BOMB. Especially with my fresh homemade healthy ranch. This is a guilty pleasure salad that you’ll want to eat every day. Croutons were a last-minute add on and are optional, but highly recommended.
- 2 cups romaine lettuce chopped
- 1 cup tomatoes chopped
- 1/4 cup bacon oven-baked
- cheddar cheese grated
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/2 tsp Kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- 1/2 tsp dried dill
- 1-2 tbsp milk I used unsweetened almond
- 1/4 cup any bread pulled apart into 1" chunks
- leftover bacon grease or olive oil
- dash dill
- dash salt and pepper
- dash garlic powder
Add all ingredients to a bowl. Add finely grated cheddar cheese over the top to your liking.
Add all ingredients to a bowl and mix together using a whisk or a fork. Add more or less milk to reach desired consistency. Season to taste, and serve!
Mix bread chunks into the bacon grease or olive oil, and then coat in the seasonings. Pan fry on medium for 5-10 minutes, until desired crispness!
