Easy Quick Pickled Onions
- 2 red onions
- 1 cup white vinegar red vinegar and apple cider vinegar work too
- 3/4 cup hot water
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Pinch of red chili flakes
Peel and thinly slice your red onions. Stuff them in a jar and fill a little over halfway with vinegar (my jar used about a cuand then top with hot water.
Add in a pinch of salt and chili flakes. Screw on the lid and refrigerate for at least 2-3 hours before serving. They last in the fridge for about a month!
