Nothing says I love you like chocolate lava cake ❤️🍫 I always thought this was hard to make but it was actually the easiest thing ever! I used @bobsredmill All Purpose Flour, but you can also use their 1:1 Gluten Free All Purpose Flour for this recipe as well!
Chocolate Lava Cake
Servings 2 Small Cakes
- 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
- 1 stick softened butter
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 eggs
- 2 egg yolks
- 1/3 cup @bobsredmill all purpose flour
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Boil some water over medium heat in a saucepan then place a bowl on top with the chocolate chips and 6 tbsp butter to melt it down. Whisk until smooth then set aside.
In a medium mixing bowl, combine sugar, eggs, and salt until foamy. Whisk the in melted chocolate and beat until combined. Slowly pour in 1/4 cup flour and stir until just combined.
Grease 2 small oven safe bowls or ramekins with remaining butter and flour, shaking out any excess flour before pouring the mixture.
Bake for about 12 min until the edges are set and the middle is still a little jiggly. It will continue to set after it’s removed from the oven. Carefully remove the cakes from the bowls with a rubber spatula. Serve warm with powdered sugar and raspberries. Makes 2 small cakes to serve 4-6 people!
