Gluten Free Fried Chicken with Chick-Fil-A Sauce

Ingredients

"Fried" Chicken Tenders

  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 3 tbsp coconut or tapioca flour
  • 2-3 tbsp avocado oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp salt & pepper

Chick-Fil-A Sauce

  • 1/4 cup mayo (Greek yogurt works too but it makes it more of a runny consistency)
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp BBQ sauce
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

"Fried" Chicken Tenders

  1. Coat chicken tenders in egg wash then a mixture of almond flour, either coconut or tapioca flour (I prefer tapioca flour), and seasonings.

  2. Pan fry in enough oil to generously coat your pan over medium heat. I cooked for about 4 minutes each side until crispy and cooked through.

  1. Combine all ingredients.
