SALTED CARAMEL

Ingredients

Salted Caramel Sauce

  • 1/2 cup coconut cream (top solid part from the can of coconut milk)
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • vanilla
  • sea salt

Instructions

  1. In a small sauce pan, heat up coconut cream, maple syrup, coconut oil, butter, a splash of vanilla and a pinch of sea salt flakes.

  2. Once it’s boiling, reduce to a simmer for 20-30 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool for 5 minutes before serving so it can thicken!
