Taco Fries

Servings 2 people


  • 1 medium sweet potato
  • 2 tbsp avocado oil
  • 1 lb organic ground turkey
  • romaine lettuce
  • avocado
  • red onion
  • jalapeno
  • cilantro
  • hot sauce/salsa
  • shredded cheese or cotija (optional)
  • Greek yogurt (optional)


  • salt & pepper
  • oregano
  • chili powder
  • paprika
  • cumin
  • garlic powder


  1. Cut sweet potato into “fries” and season with salt, pepper, oregano and coat in @chosenfoods avocado oil.

  2. I cooked mine in my @gourmia air fryer for 15 minutes at 400 degrees, shaking the basket half way through. You can also bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes each side. 

  3. While those cook, sauté 1 lb organic ground turkey in a drizzle of @chosenfoods avocado oil and season generously with chili powder, paprika, oregano, cumin, salt, garlic powder and pepper (1 tsp-ish each). Cook for about 10 minutes until cooked through.

  4. Add on top of the fries with romaine lettuce, avocado, tomato, red onion, jalapeño, cilantro and hot sauce.

  5. For cheese people, add some shredded cheddar or cojita cheese and Greek yogurt on top.
