Sticky Coconut Rice

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups jasmine rice
  • 1 can coconut milk
  • 1 3/4 cups water
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar optional

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover and let simmer for about 30 minutes until all liquid is absorbed and rice is cooked through.
