Bachelorette recap, itinerary, outfit links, and everything you need to have the best Aspen weekend ever.
I may have never dreamt about having a big, elaborate wedding, but I definitely have always dreamt about my bachelorette party.
From the moment Corey and I discussed marriage, we were immediately on the same page about having a small wedding. Although we are doing immediate family only, we are celebrating in all the ways that make perfect sense to us and it has led to the most joyful, stress-free, (dare I say fun?) wedding planning process. I cannot stress enough how important it is to do exactly what you want!!
Despite the tiny wedding, we both wanted to have bachelor/bachelorette parties. Honestly, who doesn’t want to plan a girl’s trip to Aspen?! I wanted the weekend to feel like my friends were able to really enjoy themselves and not stick to some jam-packed itinerary of binge drinking and being hungover. Aspen is the perfect place to get some nature and activities in, while still being able to eat at a boujey restaurant and go to a fun hotel lobby at night. Since the town is so teeny tiny, people could go back to the hotel and rest then meet up later, sleep in and skip our bike ride, or just do whatever they pleased.
Of course I highly recommend it, but I will address the fact that it is an expensive destination. It did end up being a lot cheaper than some of the other options though! We found insanely cheap flights by flying in on Friday and leaving Monday and our hotel was very affordable, especially split between everyone. We also didn’t spend a dime on Ubers or transportation (the hotels all have free shuttles to the airport!). You will splurge on dinners and maybe a Kemo Sabe hat if you’re really feeling the Aspen vibes, but overall it wasn’t a weekend that felt overly indulgent on any front!
Camp Brocc Itinerary
Friday
Dinner at Casa Tua! There’s so many incredible restaurants in Aspen it was hard to choose. We decided to do Italian the first night and were debating between Campo di Fiori and Casa Tua. We ultimately chose Casa Tua because the vibes are more fun and lively. The pistachio gelato is a mist!
Night out at Hooch & Belly Up. After dinner we walked over to Hooch, which is an underground, cozy cocktail bar that was playing great music and just has a great vibe overall. After a couple drinks, we headed over to Belly Up for locals night and danced the night away. They’re always having different artists there, so make sure you check out the lineup when you’re booking your trip.
Saturday
Nature Walk & Saturday Market. I love walking/biking the Rio Grande Trail. It’s right behind Hotel Jerome (which is one of my favorite hotels- definitely stop by for a drink in the lobby!). After our nature walk, we hit the Saturday Market which is right in town- you can’t miss it! There’s lots of local vendors and it’s just a great way to see the town. Don’t forget to stop by Kemo Sabe when you’re out and about!
Lunch at Ajax Tavern, Drinks at St. Regis, & Shopping. After a morning of walking around town, a delicious burger and fries was exactly what we all needed. It’s one of my favorite burgers ever and the view is amazing. Then we walked over to the St. Regis to lounge in the courtyard and have some rose. Once I had some wine in me, we shopped around and my friends convinced me to buy a bag. It was so much fun!
Dinner and Dancing at Caribou Club. This was honestly the most fun night I’ve had in years. Caribou is a members only club and luckily my sister is a member, but you can still buy a weekly membership if you wanted. It’s pricey, but I will say it’s very fun even if you just go late night for drinks and dancing. The dinner there was great too! It’s not a must though, you can still have a great time in Aspen while skipping this spot.
Sunday
Breakfast at Poppycock’s. This is a must! I dream of the oatmeal pancakes.
E-Bike to Woody Creek Tavern. This is also a must. It’s about 16 miles round trip, but when you have e-bikes you really barely break a sweat. Woody Creek is an iconic spot for lunch and drinks. The nachos and shrimp cocktail were my fav!
Wine at St. Regis Courtyard. Honestly I could hang out in the courtyard here all day! We stayed for the champagne saber at 5 which is really fun. They also have a great food menu for snacks.
Hickory House BBQ & Game Night. By the time Sunday night rolled around, we were so tired and ready for a night in. We ordered Hickory House (the best ribs) and played games in our PJs. It was the perfect way to end the trip!
Monday
Breakfast at Jour de Fete. We loved this breakfast! The croissant breakfast sandwiches were sooo good and I got the best peach of my life. Held us over for the quick flight back to LA.
Outfit Links
Dressing up in Aspen is literally the BEST! Obviously you can wear whatever you want, but it’s fun to get a little Western with cowboy boots and a fun hat. Of course I was too busy having fun and barely got any outfit pics, but you can get the overall idea.
