Because who doesn’t need a Cabo Guide?! Since I’m pretty much a regular here these days (going 5 times this year….) so I thought I would share my favorite places (mainly restaurants lol) and travel tips!! Enjoy!
First off, let’s get the basics out of the way. Downtown Cabo is about 45 minutes from the airport and getting a cab there should cost you about $15-$20 per person. Another popular spot to stay/dine/explore is San Jose Del Cabo which is about 20 minutes from the airport and 45 minutes up the coast from Downtown Cabo. I would recommend staying near Downtown Cabo, especially if it’s your first time and if you are looking for more of a social/party experience. I have stayed in San Jose and it is BEAUTIFUL but definitely more mellow. Now let’s get to the good stuff….
Food & Drink
Flora Farms (San Jose Del Cabo)– Probably one of my top 3 favorite restaurants in the world! It’s no mystery why Adam Levine got married here. Not only are the grounds unbelievably beautiful, but their farm to table cuisine is phenomenal. Make a reservation and give yourself plenty of time before and after to walk the grounds and get a fresh cocktail.
Acre Baja (San Jose Del Cabo)– ALL of the vibes at this place. Celebs such as Leonardo DiCaprio and Owen Wilson have been known to hang here and it’s for a good reason! There’s truly an Instagram-able moment at every corner and if that’s not enough to sell you basic B’s the food and cocktails are INSANE. But it doesn’t come cheap – be prepared to cough up some cash ($100-$150 per person if you do it right). This place is also a hotel where you can stay in their “tree houses” but the reviews I have heard aren’t the best. I recommend staying as long as you can for food, drinks and a tour around the property to see the puppies, bunnies, goats and peacocks!
The Office– Such great food and margaritas served up right on the sand just steps from the beach. You really can’t ask for much else. This place is simple and fun and just feels like vacation in the best way. If you are in Cabo, this place is an absolute must for dinner.
Edith’s– Sister restaurant to the office (and just right up the street), this place has the best vibe and amazing food as well.
Hacienda Cocina– If you are looking to go to a nice dinner with incredible views, this is your place. The food is insane, but it is pricey!
Omega Sports Bar– Right between Mango Deck and Casa Dorada hotel is a cheap little fish taco spot right on the sand. It is some of the best tacos you will have in Cabo and the fact that you can enjoy them with an ice cold beer while looking out at the turquoise water is just something else. Get the coconut fish taco with a flour tortilla and just try not to dream about it for the rest of your life… dare you.
Mi Casa– This place is perfect for big groups and the food is always super good. Any place that makes fresh tortillas and serves them with literally everything on the menu is A ok in my book. It’s also walking distance to all the bars and clubs so it’s perfect for dinner before a night out.
London Bistro– A surprising spot with amazing breakfast and sandwiches. Perfect for a quick bite!
Bar Esquina– The perfect spot for cocktails and a bite to eat! They have super cute decor and live music.
Monkey’s Cave Bar– Best margaritas in Cabo!
