A simple, fresh salad with my Farmer’s Market goodies. The creamiest burrata + heirloom tomatoes is my personal heaven. I also made homemade croutons with the somewhat stale sourdough I bought last week and it really made the dish. Makes the perfect little app or light meal.

Creamy Burrata & Heirloom Tomato Salad
Ingredients
- 6 oz burrata
- 1 large heirloom tomato
- Fresh basil
- Pesto
- Olive oil
- Salt & pepper
Croutons:
- A slice of stale bread
- Olive oil
- Salt & garlic powder
Instructions
- Assemble salad as shown.
- For the croutons, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Rip your bread apart into the pan and season with salt and garlic powder. Toss until golden brown and crispy.
