Okay you guys know how much I love taking my Ritual Essential Protein every morning, but I have to say sometimes it gets a little boring drinking a smoothie day after day. Instead of just skipping it altogether, I’ve been trying to get creative with how I get my protein in and have come up with some fun ideas, (if I do say so myself haha), that I had to share!
First up, I’ve finally nailed down the perfect protein pancakes recipe and y’all… These are a game changer. They are so fluffy and yummy and I think they somehow taste even better knowing I’m getting 20g of plant-based protein at the same time? To be fair, that might all be in my head but I’ll take it haha.
If you’ve been following along on my house journey, you know I haven’t been able to use my kitchen for a couple months while it was being renovated. I’ve gotten really into oatmeal for breakfast since it’s easy to make with a microwave and one day it just hit me that I could be adding Ritual’s Essential Protein to it every day! Just like that, another essential step added to my morning routine!
Last but not least, I’ve been loving mixing in a scoop of Essential Protein with my coconut water for an easy shake! Every year around this time (aka when the weather is getting warmer and warmer), coconut water is my go-to for a refreshing cold drink. Adding protein powder is such an easy way to cool down while simultaneously taking care of my body!
Ritual’s Essential Protein has been my #1 for a long time for so many reasons. First of all the flavor is just chefs kiss. I mean layers of sweet vanilla with hints of caramel and spice? Sign me up. But I also know that their specific protein formula is giving my body exactly what it needs. There are nine essential amino acids that our bodies can’t make on their own, and there are a lot of protein powders out there that have some of those amino acids but not all. Ritual has a complete amino acid profile which means you get everything you need in just one scoop!!! Whether you’re adding this to your morning coffee, smoothie, or protein pancakes (click here for my recipe!) I promise that Ritual is the way to go.
