Sugared Cranberries

Whether you’re decorating a pie or a cocktail, these sugared cranberries are the cutest festive garnish that will brighten up any dish. Not to mention they’re so simple to make! They are the star of the show on my No Bake Cranberry Curd Pie, which is my new favorite holiday dessert.

Not only can you get this cute “frosted” look on cranberries, but I’ve used it for rosemary as well and it comes out SO cute. Have fun and get creative with it!

Sugared Cranberries

Ingredients

1/2 cup water
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
12 oz cranberries

Instructions

Heat 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 cup water in a saucepan over medium high heat. Stir until sugar is dissolved and water is boiling, then remove from heat.
Once the mixture has returned to room temperature, add the cranberries and stir to full coat.
Lay on a cooling rack to dry.
Once dry, add the remaining sugar to a shallow bowl and coat the cranberries.
Use to decorate cakes, pies, cocktails, or whatever you like!
