I had the absolute BEST time planning my best friend’s bachelorette party this past weekend! Everything was so perfect and seamless, which is rare for an international trip with a group of 14 girls LOL. It is all about planning everything in advance and making sure you are prepared for it all. Don’t stress, I got you with ALL of the little details. You’re welcome.
THE ITINERARY:
🤍 Thursday Dinner: The Office! Best vibes and it’s right on the sand. Food is always amazing too! You must make a reservation ahead of time everywhere you go. Just do it.
🤍 Friday Day: Pool Party! It is important to schedule some relaxing moments so it’s not all GO GO GO. The pool party day was exactly what we needed after a travel day and long first night. Here is the link to the Airbnb we stayed in and had the pool party at. It’s unreal! They also offer you a concierge that helps with food delivery, taxis, anything you need! We also hired Chile & Lime for catering and OMG it was incredible. We added a bartender as well to make us delicious margs and WOW. It was just a 5 star experience. Food + Drinks was $58 a person.
🤍 Friday Dinner: Went to Flora Farms– it is the most magical restaurant! Go early to walk around and take pictures. It’s kinda far (45 min from downtown) but it’s a must for sure! Common question: Is it better than its neighbor Acre? My answer: 100%! Acre is amazing for drinks and it’s beautiful, but Flora just takes the cake. Order the pork chop and 72 different cocktails plzzzz. All so good! Dinner here was about $80 per person.
🤍 Saturday Day: Boat Day! We rented a catamaran and it was one of the best days ever. Here is the boat we rented– it is perfect but listen to a couple tips before you book please!!! We have rented this boat 3 times and 2 of the times they forgot about our reservation haha. Luckily, this past time they were able to accommodate us, but one of the times they canceled on us. Moral of the story, call to confirm a few days before the trip and maybe even the day before. Also, ask to upgrade your food from sandwiches to the fajitas. The sandwiches were not good, but the last time we went we upgraded and no joke they served us the best food of the trip. Well worth the small price increase! We paid $1,500 total to rent the boat, including a tip (again we were a group of 14!).
🤍 Saturday Dinner: Arbol at Las Ventanas. Incredible ambiance, but the main restaurant is a little quiet. We sat by the pool near the live band and it was so so fun. Beware: it’s EXPENSIVE! Definitely pregame and make a little snack before you go to avoid a big bill. We paid about $90 a person for this dinner.
🤍 Late Night: I only go to Nowhere Bar. The best bar EVER and they play literally the best music of all time. Could dance here all night!
🤍 Best tip of the trip: If you’re staying in an Airbnb, arrange your transportation ahead of time that way you don’t have to worry about calling cabs or Uber’s (they have Uber but it is not the most reliable especially if you’re staying in Pedregal). We used TransCabo for our transportation and our driver was amazing!
*COVID Regulations: You do need a negative COVID test to get back into the US. There are plenty of places all around that can test you. We arranged someone to come to our house and test everyone through our concierge. The tests were $60 per person. They were pretty strict on wearing masks and sticking to guidelines from what I saw.
