Since literally thousands of you recommended I try @abarestaurant’s Whipped Feta Dip, I figured I needed to recreate it! It’s insanely simple, so delicious, and the perfect summer app. Order the Aleppo on Amazon if you can’t find it at your local grocery store- it’s worth the purchase! Adds a delicious spicy and tangy flavor to the dip. Enjoy!!
Whipped Feta Aba Remake
- 5 oz feta cheese
- 1/3 cup Greek yogurt
- 2 tsp olive oil + more to drizzle
- 1-2 tsp aleppo you could also use 1/2 tsp chili flakes
- Zest from 1 lemon
- 1/4 cup salted & roasted pistachios
In a food processor, blend the feta, Greek yogurt and olive oil until blended. It’s ok if it’s still a little chunky!
Spread on a small plate and top with Aleppo, lemon zest, a drizzle of olive oil and pistachios.
Serve at room temperature.
I personally think it tastes best after it’s been sitting for a bit and the flavors really meld together. If you make it the day before, I would fully assemble everything except leave the drizzle of olive oil and pistachios for when you’re ready to serve!
