Farmer’s Market Margarita

1. First, make the Garden Juice. Add all ingredients to a high powered blender and blend on high until smooth, about 60 seconds.
2. Place a fine mesh sieve over a bowl or large measuring cup. Line the sieve with cheesecloth or a clean, thin dish towel.
3. Pour the mixture into the lined sieve and let it drain naturally for 10–15 minutes. For more juice, gently gather the cheesecloth or towel and gently squeeze out the remaining liquid. Refrigerate until chilled.
4. Note: You can skip straining if you prefer a more rustic cocktail. Just know the drink will have more pulp and will naturally separate as it sits, so give it a quick stir before drinking. The Garden Juice will keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Give it a nice shake before using. Separation is natural!

For the Farmer’s Market Margarita:

1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the tequila, garden juice, maple syrup (or agave), and lime juice. Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
2. Strain into an ice filled glass with a flaky salt or Tajín rim, if desired.
3. Top with a splash of sparkling water and gently stir with a straw. Garnish with cherry tomatoes and a fresh basil sprig.
