Just 4 ingredients to make the addicting sauce for this Honey Lime Shrimp! You can use this sauce/marinade for chicken, tofu, or any other fish too. It’s a typical Brocc style meal: healthy, easy, quick and doesn’t dirty a whole lot of dishes. Enjoy it! You’ll seriously be obsessed with this sauce I’m telling ya!!!
Ingredients
Honey Lime Shrimp
- 1/2 lb shrimp
- 2 limes
- 3 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- Pinch of red chili flakes optional
- Avocado or olive oil
- Fresh cilantro to garnish
- Brown rice to serve I love the frozen packs from @traderjoes
Stir Fry Veggies
- Stir Fry Veggies
- 1/2 white onion sliced
- 2 small zucchini cut into matchsticks
- 1 bell pepper cut into matchsticks
- Avocado or olive oil
- Salt & pepper
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the ingredients for the marinade. Add the shrimp and refrigerate for 30 min to 2 hours.
- Drizzle oil on the pan then pour in the shrimp with the marinade/sauce. Cook for about 2 min on each side or until shrimp is cooked through.
- Place the shrimp aside and on the same pan add a drizzle of oil and then your veggies. Sauté until they are charred and soft. Season to taste.
- Serve with brown rice and be sure to spoon the sauce on top of the shrimp. I added fresh cilantro on top and a squeeze of lime as well!
