Episode 19 in my series of 20 Minute High Protein Trader Joe’s Dinners was born from a fridge clean-out and it became an instant addition to my weekly rotation. This one is packed with veggies and is seriously such a quick and savory dinner with minimal dishes. Makes for amazing leftovers the next day too!
This recipe is packed with nutrients that will keep you energized and feeling full, but not stuffed. Olive oil, onion, garlic, zucchini, sun-dried tomatoes, spinach, and basil bring in essential vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Italian sausage, chicken broth and Parmesan cheese add protein and flavor while the orzo provides energy! As usual, this meal is one that will make you feel just as good after eating it as you feel while eating it. Enjoy!

Love this recipe so much! The ingredients kinda sound weird together but just trust it comes together and is delicious. Great leftovers too.
YUM! The flavors in this are excellent! A bonus that it can be made in one pan in a relatively short amount of time. It is good as leftovers as well. Definitely will make again.

The most perfect comfort, quick and easy, go-to meal. The first time I followed directions using 2 cups of broth and my dish looked like soup at the 12 minute mark. The second time I used only 1 cup of broth and it turned out perfect!
Cannot ever get enough of this meal. I add in any extra veggies I may have (Brussels, broccoli, cabbage – etc.) and half the recipe to ensure no leftovers if my fridge is full. SO DELISH and so easy.
I have made many recipes by Brocc but this one is outstanding!
