Nothing says summer like a creamy COCONUT MARG 🥥 It literally tastes like being on a tropical vacation. You must make ASAP! I can’t express how much the lightly toasted coconut on the glass’s rim elevated the entire cocktail experience. This is so so delicious – try it and tag me!
Creamy Coconut Margaritas
- 3 oz tequila I always use @casamigos
- 2 oz Cointreau or triple sec
- 4 oz canned coconut milk
- 4 limes
For the rim:
- Maple syrup
- Coconut shreds chopped
Heat a skillet over medium heat and add your coconut shreds. Stir around until golden brown and toasted.
Add two handfuls of ice to a cocktail shaker. Add tequila, Cointreau, coconut milk (shake well before opening) and lime juice. Shake for about a minute.
Assemble your glasses by coating the rim in maple syrup then toasted coconut shreds.
Add ice, strain the coconut margarita into each glass and garnish with a slice of lime.
