I can’t believe these are healthy… I tried to copy Perfect Bars walnut brownie bars and I think I nailed it! These are cheap and easy to make, filled with healthy fats and protein, and are perfect for a quick breakfast, snack or dessert.
Soak the dates for a minimum of 10 minutes in hot water!
If the mixture is too sticky, add more protein or cacao powder. If the mixture is too dry, add more peanut butter.
I added 1/2 cup of flax meal and 2 tbsp of chia seeds! Just needed some of the warm water used to soak the dates to keep it moist. Delish!
OMG I added 1/2 cup of ground flax to make them little hormonal support snacks! They’re like Eat More bites. Delish.
I loved these! So easy to make and so delicious.
These are SO GOOD! I have made a lot of protein balls in the past and these are by far the best ones I’ve ever had/made! The perfect consistency and they literally taste like brownie dough. Will definitely be making them again!
Hey Carissa,
How many balls does this recipe make?
About 8!
