
I honestly cannot think of a better appetizer than bacon wrapped dates. It’s the perfect combo of salty and sweet, plus when you stuff your dates with creamy goat cheese it is seriously HEAVEN. I also added some walnuts for crunch and then some sage for brightness. It really doesn’t get better than this right here.

Bacon Wrapped Dates with Goat Cheese & Honey
Ingredients
- 12 dates
- 6 oz. goat cheese
- one 16 oz. package of bacon
- ¼ cup chopped walnuts
- 1 tbsp. honey
- 3-4 fresh sage leaves chopped into small pieces
Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°.

In a small bowl, mix the goat cheese, walnuts, and sage. Remove pit from the dates, and open lengthwise.

Stuff the dates with the cheese mixture and then wrap each one with half a piece of bacon.

Place on a foil lined baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy. Drizzle with honey and enjoy!
