Spiced Cranberry Margaritas to get you in the holiday spirit! I’m always trying to make sure we have a margarita for any occasion, and these are going to be a new staple for throughout the holiday season. They’re perfect for serving as a batch cocktail. Just pour over ice, garnish and serve!
The syrup is the KEY to giving these cocktails a spiced holiday feel so don’t skip it! These aren’t super sweet (I don’t love a super sweet cocktail), but if you want a little added sweetness swap the cranberry juice with cranberry cocktail. If you’re not into alcohol, feel free to skip it for a mocktail. The sugared cranberries can be found here – they make such a cute garnish! Enjoy!

In a sauce pan over medium heat, bring the water, sugar, cranberries, ginger, cinnamon and orange zest to a light boil. Once the cranberries have popped and sugar has dissolved, remove from heat and let it steep for at least 30 minutes. Strain and set aside. It should yield about 1 cup.

In a pitcher, combine the tequila, Cointreau or Grand Mariner, cranberry juice, orange juice, lime juice, and spiced cranberry syrup.

Pour over ice and garnish to serve.
