Whether you are celebrating Valentine’s Day with the love of your life, friends, a first date, in a new relationship or alone (self love, duh!), let this be your guide on all things Valentine’s. I put together a list of dishes, drinks and desserts I love that are perfect for a date night at home. There is just something special about staying in and cooking for someone or even cooking together that you don’t get when going out. Don’t get me wrong, I am all for treating yourself and going out for a nice dinner, but I also love the idea of time together at home. Call it a labor of love!
Apps
Marinated Olives & Feta: A super light and easily munch-able app to pair with a good cocktail while dinner is finishing up.
Brie Pull Apart Bread: Rosemary, Garlic + Honey: You can never go wrong with cheesy bread as an appetizer.
5 Minute Spinach Pomegranate Salad: A classic salad that has all the best textures and tastes in one.
Creamy Burrata & Heirloom Tomato Salad: So simple and fresh, this flavor combo really can’t be beat.
Green Goddess Wedge Salad: It’s giving steakhouse…without the steakhouse price and without the chunky blue cheese dressing it is typically paired with. If you like the blue cheese dressing instead, go ahead, but it just isn’t for me.
Simple Caprese Style Salad: My favorite salad to pair with some pasta and glass of wine.
Citrus Avocado Salad: This one can be prepped ahead of time, is so easy to throw together and is a crowd favorite every time I serve it.
Mains
Skillet Vodka Chicken Parmesan: There is nothing is less romantic than cleaning 50 different dishes and running around sweating in a hot kitchen so we are keeping it simple with this one. Serve over your favorite pasta and enjoy!
Classic Spaghetti & Meatballs: Classic is in the title for a reason! Perfect for that meet in the middle of the noodle movie moment…you know which one I’m talking about.
Steak Frites: Just something about steak frites that are perfect for date night.
Spicy Shrimp Pasta: A 15-minute dinner that you have to try if you love spicy, shrimp, and pasta all in one.
One Skillet Crispy Chicken Thighs & Creamy Lemon Garlic Orzo: An excuse to try one of my most popular recipes. You will love this one!
Arugula Quinoa Salad With Flank Steak: This salad is packed with the most amazing flavors and textures. I would pair this with the Brie Pull-Apart Bread for an app!
Creamy Red Pepper Pasta: Creamy, rich pasta that can definitely be made plant-based if that is what you are looking for! Either way, this one is cozy and super easy.
Filet Mignon Skewers With Chimichurri: Perfect to pair with some veggies over rice. The sauce can’t be skipped!
Lemony Garlic Kale Bucatini: A light and yummy pasta that sneaks some veggies in. So good!
Poke Bowls: No cooking required and such a fun one for date night. Easily customizable as well!
Creamy Pink Chicken Pasta: Pink pasta just screams Valentine’s Day. Doesn’t hurt that it is also so damn good.
Rosé Shrimp Scampi: A fun twist to use Rosé instead of white win then you can finish off the bottle with dinner!
Pistachio Pesto Salmon: An OG Brocc recipe that really can’t be beat. This pesto can be used on salmon, chicken, pasta…go crazy!

Rosemary Pomegranate Gin Fizz: These are delicious and cute and that is all you can really ask for in a Valentine’s cocktail.
Champagne Cocktail: Celebrating something? Go for this Champagne Cocktail for a little twist on the typical champagne toast.
Campari Gin Fizz Cocktail: I just love a fizzy cocktail. You don’t have to add the egg white, but the frothy top is to die for so I have to recommend it!
Strawberry Froze: The girls that get it, get it. A pink frozen drink makes anything better!
Dessert
Chocolate Lava Cake: This is love. This is romance. This is THE Chocolate Lava Cake. Whether you make it for someone you love or for yourself, you have to make it.
Pink Strawberry Snack Mix: This mix is sooo cute and is perfect for a little Galentine’s gathering.
Homemade Magic Shell: I am OBSESSED with putting a hard shell of chocolate over ice cream, a Greek yogurt mix, anything sweet really. You never look back once you have had it.
Strawberry Cake Bars: These are cute, slightly dense, and moist like a shortbread with a sweet and tangy taste. Perfection!
