Whether you like football or not, you have to respect a sport that has its own cuisine. Football food is undeniably delicious ranging from cheesy, delicious dips to pretty much anything that can be dunked in ranch dressing. Any of these recipes will make you the star of the potluck, so take your pick and let the compliments roll in! Each one is a crowd pleaser in its own right.
Below you will find a list of all the recipes you will want to make (and eat) on the big day, from apps and dips to your mains, dessert and drinks. Yes, cocktails, because not everyone wants to throw back beers all day. Go sports!
Appetizers
Mexican Pizza Nachos: There really is just something about a plate of nachos that has me forgetting any manners I have ever been taught about eating in public. Dig in!
Sticky Apricot BBQ Turkey Meatballs: A lighter app choice that isn’t carb or cheese based. These can still be dangerous as they are so good it’s easy to forget how many you have popped in your mouth until you see all the toothpicks on your plate…
Hawaiian-Inspired Pulled Pork Sliders: So easy and flavorful, these sliders have all the tastes and textures you could dream of on a Hawaiian roll.
Everything Bagel Pigs In A Blanket: Super easy upgrade to the classic. These disappear quick!
Boursin Twice Baked Potato: These potatoes give steakhouse vibes, but are so easy to make and totally have steakhouse level tastes. If you want to be the favorite guest, definitely bring these!
BBQ Chicken Nachos: Like I said. There is just something about a plate of nachos and these are game day app heaven.
Turkey Pesto Sliders: It isn’t a party unless someone has something in a Hawaiian roll. You’re welcome.
Buffalo Chicken Taquitos: So delicious and the perfect little crispy boats of goodness ready to be dunked into your dip of choice.
Crispy Chicken Sliders: Everything is cuter when it’s miniature. If you have it without the bun (or a GF bun), it is also gluten free!
Garlic-Parmesan Boneless Wings: These will absolutely blow your mind. They’re so delicious and easy to whip up!
Buffalo Chicken Meatballs: Buffalo chicken everything!!! You can’t go wrong here.
Dips
Buffalo Chicken Dip: The most popular appetizer recipe I have ever created and it is for a good reason. You cannot watch the Super Bowl without this dip.
Healthier Spinach Artichoke Dip: Healthier version of the classic and one of my absolute favorites ever! One of those you want a personal bowl of.
Cowgirl Dip: I don’t know if I can stress enough how easy and delicious this southwest inspired dip is. Only 5 minutes to prep and 20 minutes in the oven…there’s no excuse not to make it!
Whipped Feta Dip With Aleppo And Pistachios: I love making this one the day before because it goes so crazy when the flavors meld together. Seriously, sooo good!
Shrimp Ceviche: Ok maybe not necessarily a “dip” but it falls in the “chips are a vessel to eat it” category. A healthy app that is super easy! Use pre-cooked shrimp to make it even easier.
Layered Taco Dip: Perfect for a bigger crowd and truly just insanely good.
Worlds Best Guacamole: A staple. This is the BEST guacamole ever. I can never get enough!
Baked Tomato Feta Dip: Serve with fresh bread or over pasta for a main dish. It went viral for a reason!
Jalapeño Bacon Corn Casserole: Creamy, slightly spicy and the perfect combo of sweet and savory.
Greek Yogurt Dip With Sizzling Scallions: Simple and crowd pleasing, this is a fancier version of onion dip with a little bit of spice.
Healthy Homemade Ranch: Pretty much everything can be dipped in ranch on game day. Enough said.
French Onion Dip: Healthier take on a classic and I will never buy it premade again. Enjoy!
Main Event
Slow Cooker Chicken Enchilada Casserole: Prep only takes 10 minutes then the slow cooker takes care of the rest, although you will need to plan for around 8 hours of cooking time. Perfect for an enchilada craving when you need to serve a larger group of people.
Healthified Crispy Chicken Sandwich: For when you are craving the sandwich you can never get on a Sunday. This is a healthier version and still scratches that itch.
Healthified Crunchwrap Supreme: A forever favorite and absolute crowd pleaser.
Crispy Baked Tacos With Buffalo Ranch: Super quick to whip up, just adjust for the numbers needed! It goes crazy dipped in the buffalo ranch.
Deli-Style Turkey Sub with Sweet Pepper Relish: One of my absolute favorite sandwiches. Cut it into 2 inch sections to make it easier to eat for bigger crowds.
Cheesesteak Skillet: Your guests will thank you for this one. One of those that will get you a text later asking for the recipe.
The Best BBQ Chicken: Perfect served over a chopped salad, with sides or used in a sandwich.
Grilled Chipotle Chicken Sandwich: Perfect for a crowd, easy to make, and most of it can be prepped ahead of time.
Grilled Chipotle Chicken Tacos: Every time I make these, I am reminded of how amazing they are. So many things on this list to be paired with this scrumptious main from layered taco dip to mango margs.
Filet Mignon Skewers With Chimichurri: Level up with these Filet Mignon Skewers. Guests will so impressed and you will know how simple they actually were to make…but they don’t have to know that. Yes, chef!
Cowboy Caviar Chopped Salad: You may not think about a salad first when dreaming up Super Bowl food, but this one just hits different. It honestly feels like all the ingredients in your favorite dip mixed with the protein of a main, additional veggies and a delicious dressing. Balance!
Bean & Cheese Enchiladas: This one isn’t as finger food friendly, but it is definitely taste buds friendly. These enchiladas are perfect for a smaller crowd and pair well with my guacamole and really any marg of choice listed below.
Burger Bowls: Sometimes you want the flavors and textures of a burger, but you don’t want the bun. Burger Bowls are the happiest compromise for this, but it also won’t overload you after all the apps and dips eaten beforehand.
Cheesy Gordita Crunch: All the textures you could ever want in a taco. You know this one and you love it, so go ahead and make it!
Loaded Baked Potato Soup: As you all know, I am a big soup girl. This one is easy, cozy and nourishing with all the flavors of a loaded baked potato.
Marry Me Creamy Chicken Chili: A cult favorite, but make this one with caution. Can’t have multiple suitors falling in love with you at the same Super Bowl Party! Or throw caution to the wind and see what chaos unfolds. Good luck!
Turkey Chili: Chili is always a great choice for a crowd and can be served with toppings of your choice.
Steak Tacos With Elote Corn Salad: My lighter version of traditional Elote paired with a steak taco is a combo you need to have. Go crazy!
Sweet Potato Quinoa Chili: This one is great if you are looking for a vegetarian option that will satisfy everyone, even the meat eaters. I know that can be hard to find at your typical Super Bowl gathering as most options are loaded with carbs, meat and cheese.
Drinks
Campari Gin Fizz Cocktail: I am all for a gin cocktail and this one is just too good.
Gold Rush Cocktail: The cocktail for winners. I know this isn’t the Olympics, but we are still going for gold, am I right?
Key Lime Pie Margarita: A cocktail that can double as dessert, but don’t worry, we are still having dessert.
Strawberry Aperol Spritz: A slight twist on the classic that levels up an already perfect drink.
Frozen Chamoy Mango Margaritas: Perfect little boozy treat! Another cocktail that can be treated like a dessert as well.
Cucumber Lime Margarita: One of the absolute best margs I have ever had. So refreshing!
Spicy Ranch Water: I am allllll for a cocktail with a little kick and this is it.
Strawberry Frose: Cute and delicious! Make the day before so there is plenty of time for it to freeze. Can be adjusted for however many you plan to make!
Desserts
Brown Butter S’mores Rice Krispies: Cozy like a campfire and you don’t have to put in the oven! Easily made the day before.
Granola Peanut Butter Chocolate Oatmeal Bars: Creamy with a little crunch. Another to easily make the day before as they are best cooled.
Strawberry Cake Bars: Cute, sweet and tangy!
Banana Nutella Cake: This one is a remake from a bakery in New York that I couldn’t stop thinking about after having. You will absolutely love!
